Mary D. Borrego

Mary is a litigator with experience at all stages of litigation in the state and federal courts of Texas. She has represented individuals, and businesses in matters ranging from breach of contract, DTPA actions, insurance defense, coverage disputes, personal injury, construction defects, employment, healthcare, real estate, and regulatory matters.

Mary graduated from the University of Houston Law Center in 2017, where she participated in the Entrepreneurship and Community Development Clinic and the Interscholastic Moot Court team. While at UHLC, Mary clerked for various Houston firms, interned for Judge George Hanks in the Southern District of Texas Galveston Division, and became national champion of the National Health Law Moot Court Competition.

She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Houston in 2013. In college, Mary worked as a landman and senior paralegal for a Houston real estate firm.

In additional to her work as a civil litigator, Mary works with businesses and nonprofits in developing practical solutions and strategies for their business goals. She works with clients in drafting contracts, buy/sell agreements, asset and stock purchase agreements, promissory notes, warranty deeds, and other documents incidental to the operation of a business.

Outside of work, Mary enjoys camping, running, and most importantly, spending time with her family.
